is online dating safe?
I so need a boyfriend... I haven't had one since my first one in high school and that relationship was 5 years ago... I'm 19 now.... I am really shy and I'm rarely the first to speak with anyone (at first).... but when I know someone well enough I love to talk and am very talkative... I am a major tomboy (people constantly compare my style to the young Avril Lavigne) I thought I might try online dating and maybe it'll be easier on me.... but I was hoping to find someone who could give me advice? and are there any dating sites I could join for free? no payments (or strings) attached?

- i wouldn't think so. if you don't see the person at least every 2 weeks i wouldn't even consider it dating. think about it. they could cheat on you and you would never know.
