17 and 2 speeding tickets =[ I NEED ADVICE!?

So I got my first speeding ticket about 3 months ago, i got traffic school. The date for the traffic school is still valid, and i havent attained it yet. but recently i got ANOTHER speeding ticket. so my question is, what the hell are they going to do with me?...I didint even finish the first punishment and now i have a 2nd one, this one was pretty bs. Im thinking of taking some pictures and fighting it because he radared me from 3 lanes with heavy traffic, at around 11 p.m. any suggestions?..Don't say anything like "Oh slow down" or "thiers an easier way...don't speed" Yes i know these...i got caught speeding so im asking you all for advice. Is saying " I was rushing to meet curfew" a good stance also? Trooper i like what you said, but what CAN i do?! I wasn't speeding actually, speed limit was 40, everyone, includin the cop, was going 50, so he clocks me somehow at 53 in a 40 zone...thats why i want to take a picture/film to show that literally EVERYONE drives 50 thier. The first one i told my parents, i paid it off. I don't rely on my parents for paying my stuff, but this second one if i am found guilty, that is, 300+. I doubt i can pay that off...

  1. I wouldn't bring up the three lanes of heavy traffic... speeding in those conditions will not impress the judge. Saying you were late for curfew will not help either, that is an admission of guilt. The judge will just tell you that you should have left earlier. Your biggest problem may be insurance. Two tickets in three months is probably going to double your rates. You may want to check with the judge, some courts have local ordinances that do not get reported to the DMV, you would still pay the fine, but keep your record clean.
  2. You haven't been convicted. Let somebody prove you did it.
  3. You're missing the point. You didn't just "get" the tickets. You got nailed BECAUSE YOU WERE BREAKING THE LAW. So don't do it. It's that simple.
  4. Absolutely go to court - always go to court, and if you have a defense, plead innocent. Otherwise, plead guilty with an explanation, and apologize. 50% of the time, the police officer does not show up to court to testify against you, and you are let off the hook completely.
  5. My moms a nurse and she had to rush to a patients house to get him his medicine cuz he was dying and she got pulled over and she explained what was going on and all the cop had to say was "well mam thats why we have ambulences" my mom was shocked she asked if he was serious and he said yeah. my mom said "i have a man dying and your lecturing me" well she went to court to fight and the judge told her the same thing. which by the way she got there in time. so she had to pay the ticket and court cost and all that so im thinking that you are up a creek without a paddle and your gonna get stuck with two tickets, outrageous insurance payments, and two pissed off parents. If I was your parents I would drop you from my insurance or make you pay what part of the bill was yours. welcome to the real world kid.
