How old should a teen be to have a bf/gf and "date"? 10points?? date as in meet their bf/gf somewhere like the movies, and have their first kiss. nothing sexual just a kiss. all my friends have bfs/gfs but my mom treats me like im 5! how can i convince her to let me "date" please help!! im 13&1/2.my stepbro can "date" hes my age but like 3months older. help plz

- talk to her about it. tell her u really wanna be in a relationship and dont compare urself with ur brother that will probably like frustrate her. but u can say that u like someone alot and u want to hang out with them. umm if she worries about like ur grades promise her that ull keep them up. make a deal with her like if ur grades go down then ull have like "probation" from ur bf for a week or watever. and tell her it would make u really happy if she let u. if she doesnt do wat most teens do anyway, date secretly!its not that hard as long as ur brothers not a jerkface:) and no ur not too young to start dating just dont get sexual yet
