dating as a single parent?
dating a guy for about a month. He is unsure about how he feels because i have a 5 year old child, and he has never dated anyone with kids. He says he doenst want to lead me on, but is unsure about his feelings on the situation. However he says i am different than any other person he has dated in a good way. Should i cut it off? i am unsure of what to do. Any Advice PLEASE!

- That's something that only you and he can discuss. My suggestion would be to do some activities together with your child, like take a daytrip to the zoo or something and see how they interact. It's totally understandable why he would be apprehensive about dating a women with baggage, but if he gets along well with your child he'll see that he'll just have one more special person in his life. If that bothers him, he's not worth you or your kid's time.
- Girl I feel for you. I have a 6 year old and most men I have dated have said the same thing. He is just scared and not sure how to handle kids and from the sounds of it he probably hasnt been around kids much. My ex b/f never dated anyone with kids either but he stuck around because he loved me and i never pushed my kid on him. He turned out to be really good and very patient with my kid. so after a month and he still isnt sure i would say let him go and let him know that you have a child to think about and if he isnt sure by now that he never will.
