this is an unusual problem but anyway: in chatrooms, girls like me, i mean they give me their number and all that, but in real life, i suck at dating, i get nervous and i mess it up. * And i dont lie about myself online! advices please?

- I think your problem is talking to someone face to face some advise i would give you is trying to plan out conversations orr just to try to think that you are talking to somone online. I also have a similar problem and trust me it would be harder for me to tell you this directly than over yahoo answers
- I have a very similar problem, im very shy in person but online i can be the fun person i really am easily and make a lot of friends very quickly. But in real life forget about it.. im shy, awkward, and kinda closed off. Basically i met my bf online through myspace. We talked on aim for a few months got to know each other and he got to see who i really was not the shy girl who didnt say anything. Even the first night i hung out with him and his friends i barely said anything. But after that night we started talking on the phone a lot and started hanging out more. And he already liked who i really was and he knew about my problem so he gave me time to open up and the more we hung out the easier it was for me to be myself. The weird thing is hes the only guy i've ever met from online but i could just tell i liked him a lot from the start. And we've been going out for almost two years now. So maybe you could find a girl who lives around you and talk to her online more at first, or meet someone through the internet. You just have to be careful and do a little of both or the in person stuff wont get better if that makes any sence.
