Any advice for a shy guy looking to find someone from the internet to date?
I do feel I'm too shy and nervous to be able to approach a woman anywhere in person. It actually is more comfortable to get to know someone who is actually looking and/or willing to talk to you, which is usually online. Would anyone have any advice on some datings sites or a site's chat rooms? I appreciate any advice. If you have any questions, I'll address them immediately. I have given my space a try, I'm still using it and seeing if anyone will respond to me.

- match.com i know is a dating site. If you're too shy you can also try your friends, see if they know anyone. Another in person idea is join a club of something YOU enjoy, or volunteer somewhere (you like dogs volunteer for the humane society) and see if you meet someone there :) GL

- I'm really sorry to say this, but I think the best thing for you in my opinion is to get out there. If you hide behind your computer, you will never get over your shyness. Isn't that something you really want? To be able to talk to girls in person? Go out with a couple guy friends. Buy a girl a drink, or just say HI. If she smiles and says hi back, ask her name and introduce yourself. Ask her something about herself and you will be onto a great conversation. Good luck. I'm sorry i didn't answer your question, but i used to be very shy. So shy that i wouldn't even speak loud enough for people to hear! Now i'm a personal trainer! - To be honest Internet dating is a waste of time, in my honest opinion. If you want to get rid of your shyness with girls there are two good methods to do so. 1. Ask every girl you see if she'd go out with out. Mass rejection rids you of fear. 2. Or go up to every girl and ask, "what's your favorite flavor of bowling ally?" Asking this question works well too.
