Pop-Ups On IE7.?
I use the BT/YAHOO browser with internet explorer 7. The past few days. I have been getting pop-up appearing every few minutes whilst I'm using it. I have the pop-up blocker turned on. I have the adaware program. All my firewalls and virus protection is up to date. Has anybody any idea whats gone wrong. I tried downloading a free pop-up/over blocker. That didnt help either. I am no computor geek, so any help or advice would be most appreciated.

- click ur tools button and check ur pop-up blocker settings
- Download Firefox and forget IE7
- Go to tools>Pop-up Blocker>Pop-up Blocker Settings and set it to high. This blocks all pop-ups, and you need to press Ctrl to override this.
- Which adaware program did you run? (1) Get you self a good antivirus or a free one . (2) If you have not already scanned your comp with spybot do that now . (3) Do an online virus scan to check if you still have any other viruses in your computer. And let us know if the online virus scan still finds any virus or spyware . If the above steps do not remove the hijack then you would need to (4) Download hijackthis (5) Post the hijackthis log on the hijackthis forum for the hijackthis experts to take a look
- I had the same problem and it was a trojan-vundo virus and it was a devil to get rid of.
- Thats because you havent the right settings in ActiveA, that is what allows them to communicate with your computer. Review those setting, got to Tools, InterOptions, Security, Custom and see ActiveX settings. Check off appropriate boxes
