Can anyone help me with the proper authorities that I should contact regarding a Scam in Cameroon ?

Hello, yes it's me again. I am trying to sue the Camairpets transit people ( the airport and insurance company). I have sent a very detailed report with Western Union Transaction numbers, amounts ,dates, and who sighed for the money. to the GMI Internatonal Inspector/ and IC3 Internet Complaint Center. These con-people are very very good. Jessica Simsons is a front for the "HOOK" . you never talk to her on the phone...just email and she lays it on thick about how she is so grateful someone is going to take care of her "babies". I am not going to let these people get away with my $1000.00 !!! So, if anybody had advice or suggestions, I would be very greatfull. Please feel free to Email me at: thedragonwomyn@sbcglobal.net. I promise your name will be kept confidential if you request it. But it seems to me , the more people who file a complaint/ the better off we all will be in the end !!!!!

  1. This is a common scam. Many people in Cameroon and Nigeria for example are doing this. EVERYONE who knows something about internet theft is aware of it, so your complaints are hardly news to them. I'm sorry to say that there is no way to get your money back. There is no way to track the dummy accounts to an individual in these 3rd World countries, and even if there were, the local police aren't interested in fixing the problem (it brings money to the countries without having to screw people there). Sorry, but you'll never see a dime of it again. I guess I don't have to tell you to be more careful next time with online scams...
  2. they did this to Dr. Phil ; sold time with him for telephone conference ; he did a show on them and then tracked them down; scam is right ; start with your attorney general of your State ; then then postal inspector ; police department etc
  3. Try the FBI. If you have "Call 3" or "10 on your side" type tv channels in your area, you can contact them and they will investigate and try and help you get your money back. Most people fear their scams to be known because they cannot continue the process with others. I have been having loads of fun with these web scam artists. I have had a couple now that have promised me loads of money if I would come forward and claim moneys that there are no living realtives for. They have asked me to send them my banks name and bank account number so they can deposit this so called moneys into my account. Ha, ha. They will have to mail me the check to my P.O. Box. I will then deposit the money (that really doesn't exist). They wanted to bleed my already depleted bank account. I had another scam where the person emailed e and told me that I had won some x-amount of money and so they needed my address and phone number. They also wanted my bank's name and bank account number. I wasn't going to give them my home address because I don't need unexpected visitors that I don't know at my door step, plus, I refuse to give them my phone number so they can make long distance calls and charge it to my number. And of course, I have already told you about the bank stuff. You have to be very careful who you deal with on the internet. It doesn't matter whether or not you are buying an animal on line or whether someone has emailed you to get some personal information out of you.
