Kinda blind date?
Yeah, well I have a date on Tuesday with this guy I met on PlentyOfFish.com. It's a free online dating site, so I figured "why not?" To be honest, I've never done this before. I've always at least SEEN the guy in person before going on a date with him, so this whole Internet dating thing is kinda weird to me. But I'm trying to be open-minded. He and I started emailing for a spell, then we chatted on the phone a couple times before setting the date. He seems nice, but I'm not having any expectations. I guess my question is do any of you have any advice for this? What topics of conversation should I have up my sleeve for potential "awkward silences" (that's my main question, I guess). He and I are meeting somewhere, and it's in public (a restaurant), so it should be safe. But what do I do to ease the weirdness? Thanks!
