dating question... looking for girls advice?
ok, so thursday night I met this girl out at the bar and I'm calling her today and we're going to go out on a date of some kind. Thing is I don't really know much about this girl and have no clue what to do. I'd ask her to go get some drinks but it's sunday and after a tough 4th of july weekend of drinking for me I may die if I see alcohol of any kind. So I'm thinking about attempting this and I want to know girls opinion if this is too forward. There's a public pool at my apt complex and since she lives in town I figure it'd be easy to ask her if she wants to hang out and go swimming since it's a beautiful day out. So what do you think good idea bad idea? Any alternatives? ps I'm 23 and I have no idea how old she is, but since I met her at the bar she's prob 21ish give or take.

- Day at the pool might not be a bad idea but than again she might not feel too comfortable being ALMOST naked on the first date. See what she thinks about it. If she's not too hot about the idea than maybe go out to eat somewhere and maybe a walk at the beach. Gives you a nice chance to get to know her. But first see if the pool idea is ok by her.
- Talk to her and find out what she would like to do, and have a few ideas. Put forward the pool idea (although I would not want to go on a first date to a pool, but that is just me), or walking your friends dog, or playing Frisbee in the park. It is a good idea to pick something where you are actually doing something, not just sitting there drinking. Have a beautiful day.
- umm... ok why don't u grab some lunch somewhere? because the truth is that if a guy i did not know was asking me to go to a pool with him the first thing i would think about is that he wants to see me in a bathing suit and that is not good...cause she doesnt even know u that well and she won't feel comfortable in that setting in my opinion...go get some lunch
