mormon girls, need your advice.....dating?
As all you LDS Young Women know, we can't date 'til 16. So can you hang out with your guy friends if your in a big group of both guys and girls? Even if you like them? Summer is almost here and I have a guy friend I like, (and he likes me too.) He knows I'm LDS and can't date. But I don't want to lose touch with him and my other friends over the summer. Is there any way I can still do this while keeping my standards?

- well im not LDS but i live in Salt lake city and i have tons of mormon friends. to be honest i think only 1 of them actually follows that rule. but she still flirts, hangs out with the guy she likes, and hugs and stuff like that they just dont "go out". GOOD LUCK ;)

- IF he knows your Mormon, and he knows how you feel, see how he feels about it. If he doesn't like the idea of you waiting (a good choice, and smart on your side), then he isn't that great a guy (you want better than that,right?) If, on the other hand, he says 'OK', and HE waits,too, well, he would be a great guy. Some guys do, if they really like someone, some don't. keep to your standards, it's worth it.
- As long as the two of you are not pairing off regularly (for example, if you go to an amusement park, you should not ride all the rides with him), just hanging out with a group of friends is fine. It's the intent of the heart that is the main importance here. Are you just hanging out with your other friends so you can snuggle with him on the sly? Or are you mainly there for friendship, and as a bonus the guy you like is there too. You are the only one that can decide why you're hanging out with your friends. So I would suggest a lot of prayer time on this subject to ask Heavenly Father to help you to make sure your heart and desires are in line with His.
