I have a some questions for bi-sexual girls or lesbians, can you help answer them?

I'm 34 and have had a boyfriend for almost 8 years now. We are growing apart. Our relationship is very stressful. Since I was a teen, I've found myself attracted to women. I did "experiment" in college but didn't date any women. If my bf and I split, I'd like to try dating a woman but I don't know how to meet any! I really don't want to go to a gay bar (I live an hour from Chicago) and just "hook up". What are some other ways? I'm preety but I am feminine, would both "butch" and "girly" (I hope these terms are not offensive, if they are, please tell me the correct terms) women, possibly find me attractive? I'm also very shy at first around both women and men, is that a problem? I'd love to find a woman who loves animals just as much as I do and someone I can talk to about anything (this is not the case with any man I've ever dated). Please give me any advice you have! What about free dating services online, are there any good sites? Or is this a bad way to meet someone?

1. plenty of fish is a free site. but as with all these dating sites you obviously need to be careful if you do meet up with somebody as you dont really know this person. make sure you meet in a public place,and if possible tell somebody about it (where and when etc).

There are several ways to get involved in the GLBT community as means of meeting other like minded people. 5. You won't have any problems finding a woman that is interested in the same things you are. In my experience woman are not as shallow and don't just go for looks. I'm sure you will find both fem and butch will take interest. Good luck and have fun!
