Ok, I know that on the first date it is gentleman to pay for the lady and all that jazz. But for me it is turning out that I keep getting used. So..how do I imply that maybe she should pay for her half next time? In a way that will not piss her off or whatever, know what i mean? I'M NOT TRYING TO BE MEAN IT'S JUST THAT THE RECENT GIRLS HAVE USED ME READ THE DAMN QUESTION WHORES

  1. your the GUY you should ALWAYS pay......... That's just the way it works....
  2. then dont date... that makes you sound cheap...
  3. Do not do that.
  4. Sure fire way to make sure you don't piss her off or insult her? YOU PAY!!!! Once you start dating and getting somewhat serious if you're with a decent woman than she'll start to offer to pay. But until then you gotta pay if you want to have a chance.
  5. You're mean, do you know that? If you invite a woman on a date, surely you should pay for her first drink! Just don't ask her if she wants another one if you do not fancy her. Besides, you don't have to invite her to the restaurant. Just to a cafe, or a pub, and if there's no connection, just keep it short.
  6. It would make me mad for a guy to tell me I had to pay. She should offer to pick up the check. I never offer to pay. I feel that is a guys place. I would invite him over and I would cook, but never pay. I will pick up the tab for drinks every now and then, but that is it.
  7. dude don't listen to all these chicks on here. You do not have to pay every time. Just make sure you pay the first time. If you think your being used don't go out with the girl again. Try to go to places that are in a different setting where you won't get one bill. Work your way around it and if your dating someone worth while who isn't a gold digger like all these other chicks on here then she will offer to pay.
  8. Just let her know that in general you have no problem paying. When the relationship is more serious and not so casual. My ex told me the other day that one of our problems was that he wanted me, to forever, be paying my 1/2. Then he said that the reason I don't agree with him is that we are different generations. I don't think your age has anything to do with this, to me he is just cheap. I don't mind helping pay for things don't get me wrong, but to know that for the next however many years I am going to always have to pay 1/2 of everything is not happening. Plus the fact is he makes twice as much money as I do. Just remember these things when you are talking to a girl your going out with.
