Have a court date coming up and am going to speak with a public defender but would like to find out if I can get a better variety of answers before then.

4. here are 2 points of advice: 1: If you EVER are in the position where you think you need a lawyer, get the BEST-even if you don't think you can afford it. it will pay in the long run. 2: there are two types of "good" lawyers. One type if you are guilty and another if you are not guilty. Good Luck
