Online dating? Need advice from guys...?
I recently got into online dating (eharmony) and have talked to a few nice guys back and forth. One guy in particular has really caught my eye. We've been messaging each other for about 1.5 weeks now. My problem is that I can't really tell if he's interested. He continues to respond to my messages, answering my questions about him and asking me a few things about myself. He always greets me with a pleasant enthusiastic opening, but he just doesn't write very long messages. It seems like he's putting in the bare minimum while I feel like my messages are twice as long. Should I take that as a sign of disinterest or is that just a guy thing to not write long messages? Would he continue to communicate with me if he wasn't interested? I really want to just meet him in person because I'd rather get to know someone that way opposed to typing small talk back and forth. Is that too pushy to tell him that or would he maybe be relieved to get past the messaging?

- Relax sweetie--most men cannot communicate as verbally as women do. Everything you said definitely says he's interested. If he wasn't, he would not communicate or be enthusiastic about his greeting. Always remember--you are the complex one and he is the simple one. Sounds like you're OK to me.
