learn how to understand men

Please? Any advice on my ex really needed thanks!?

I was dating a guy for a year and a half, had been going really well, but guess I took him for granted last few weeks, pressing for us to get married move in together, generally got too comfortable. Out of the blue he broke up, I was devastated and missed him but gave him his space. I never heard from him in 6 months and recently in moment of weakness emailed him saying I had missed him and maybe we should catch up. He replied a few hours later telling me he was sorry for the delay, mail system down and the dates and time he was free saying that would be good. Bit nervous though and haven't replied. Don't want to feel rejection again, at the same time, I do miss him and feel like I never got closure, our relationship was left hanging in mid air. Can you advise? Thank you so much! :O)

  1. meet up with this guy but just dont expect to much.
  2. take it slow, everyone is rushing into everything and the only way to have a real relationship that'll mean more to you than anything is to NOT RUSH IT! try this song: "you're gonna miss this" -trace adkins
  3. a few hours isn't that long but he thought it was like he wanted to talk to you straight away... i would go - he is still the same guy, so you should know him pretty well. look at it this way what is the worse thing that could happen you are already broken up he might miss and still love you and you just freaked him out with marriage talk. you could get back together or get closure, never see him again and move on or become friends either way i think you should go - at least you would get a chance to ask some questions, see how you feel about him face to face and it might be your chance to say goodbye, if that's where it is headed and i think you need that.
  4. This is a chance to start again. Meet up with him, don't discuss moving in or marriage. It's quite obvious you scared him away. Just appreciate each other. Take it slow. You have another chance which is excellent news.
