Mixed feelings about dating someone met online. Advice?
We've had 2 long phone conversations. He wants to take me to dinner. He has interjected sex into both conversations for a short period, and I have a problem with that after just 2 calls. I realize dating someone from an internet service can be dangerous, and it's probably not a good idea. He's nothing like what his profile stipulated in that he claims to be very religious. That is not the case. He never has talked about that. I'd like the opportunity to meet and be friends, but I have reservations about this guy. Anyone been there and done that?

- Internet service is just the same as meeting a guy in a pharmacy. The red flad I see here - the sex talk on both calls. Ask him what he did today - if he didn't go to church or wasn't working - not religious. Just another way for him to meet a woman beyond his league. - Not a good Idea. Okay, my family friend lets call her "lisa" So lisa met "Frank" online at Eharmony.com or something. So they started chatting on the phone 3-5 times, and they wanted to meet each other. So they reserved a table at "Lisa's" favourite restaurant. Anyways, all fFrank wanted was sex, and actually attempted rape at one point of their date. But thankfully "Lisa" escaped and no knows the dangers of internet dating. The internet does not work to find true love, their are many pedos out there, and just want to harm you. They can lie about anything, and may seem like a nice guy...so stick to people in real life....... You've been warned.
