In search of dating advice from the women...? I'm 33 and I have been single for almost 7 years - since separating from my ex-wife. And it's been over 3 years since my last date. I am somewhat shy about meeting new people to begin with and after so little activity in so many years I'm in even worse shape. The main problem I have now is I live in a relatively small community with very little in the way of a night life. In fact, it seems there is very little in the way of a public social scene period. I've tried some of the on-line personals sites but there are only a small handful of listings - like less than 10 - in reasonably close proximity (less than 30-45 minutes). I do know there are plenty of women in the community - even presumably single women - because I see them at work all the time. I just don't know where to find them away from work. I could really use a female's perspective on how I can at least improve my chances of meeting someone. One thing I should add is that I moved to this community for work about 18 months ago and I don't really know anyone outside of work (and I mainly work with teenagers). Woman advice on dating a guy with no DL? I am dating. I talked to a couple woman and they sort of lost interest in me soon as they found out i had no drivers license. I was honest with them that i would be getting it back but not untill 4-5 mo. Reason mine is suspended is from lots of speeding tickets. Woman out there!!!...woud you date a guy if he had no DL or is it a deal breaker?

What advice do men have for women when it comes to dating? I'm tired of getting hurt. I want to have fun and be happy, but I'm told I "expect too much" from the guys I date. All I want is an exclusive relationship. I guess I'm not really attracted to the dating *game* as its so called. But I'll play it if I have to, if I can find one guy that makes me happy for a while. I'm not looking for a marriage partner, as I am only 21 and have a whole life ahead of me. It just seems like whenever I get close to someone, they freak out and tell me they don't want (or "arent ready") for an "exclusive relationship." The idea of dating more than one person at a time does not appeal to me, simply because I dont want to be played. I'd really like some men to give me some advice. Whats your take on dating in general, and am I worrying too much?
